The PRINCE2® 7 Foundation training in English provides a structured entry point into one of the most widely used project-management methods and prepares you for the official PeopleCert certification exam.
In this two-day PRINCE2 Foundation English training, you build a solid understanding of the PRINCE2 7 principles, practices, processes, roles and responsibilities. The training explains how projects are justified, planned, controlled and closed in a consistent way, while also covering the elements introduced or strengthened in PRINCE2 7: people, sustainability, digital and data management, communication and tailoring.
The seminar is designed for professionals who want to standardize project work, improve governance and speak a shared project-management language across teams, departments and suppliers. Practical examples, exam-oriented explanations and knowledge checks help connect the PRINCE2 method with real project situations.

What is PRINCE2 7 Foundation in English?
PRINCE2 7 Foundation in English is a two-day training that introduces the official PRINCE2 Project Management method in its seventh edition. The seminar covers principles, practices, processes, roles, terminology and exam-relevant concepts in English.
Is previous project-management experience required?
No formal previous experience is required for the Foundation level. Practical exposure to projects, coordination tasks or process-oriented work is useful, but the training starts with the core concepts and builds the PRINCE2 method step by step.
What is the format of the PRINCE2 7 Foundation exam?
The official PRINCE2 7 Foundation exam consists of 60 multiple-choice questions. The exam duration is 60 minutes, it is closed book, and the minimum score required to pass is 60 percent.
Is PRINCE2 Foundation required for Practitioner?
PRINCE2 Foundation is the usual entry qualification for the Practitioner level. After completing the Foundation certification, the next step is the PRINCE2® 7 Practitioner (English) training.
Can the PRINCE2 Foundation exam be taken online?
Yes. The certification exam is taken online through PeopleCert at a scheduled exam date. A suitable exam environment, stable internet connection, webcam and microphone are required for remote proctoring.
What is the difference between PRINCE2 7 Foundation and PRINCE2 Agile?
PRINCE2 7 Foundation explains the core PRINCE2 project-management method. PRINCE2 Agile combines PRINCE2 governance with agile ways of working. For agile project environments, the PRINCE2® 7 Agile Practitioner (English) training can be a relevant follow-up after the appropriate foundation knowledge.
